Description
Some might call these spring onions. You can grill about any onion, but these are nice and sweet and almost ready for drying. They are picked a little small, but have developed a bulb. Chunks of them work great in kabobs! Spring onions aren’t really a different type of onion but actually just white, yellow or red varieties that have been harvested at a young age. Do yourself a favor and try them whole and grilled—the char really brings out their sweetness.
