Our dryer balls are made in the most efficient, sustainable way possible. They have a core of wool ?seconds? that would otherwise go to waste, covered with Pinwheel Farm wool processed at The Shepherds Mill in Phillipsburg, KS (supporting a small local economy in northwestern Kansas). We use a home made felting solution based on home made sheep milk soap to encourage the natural felting process, in which the balls are agitated in an old wringer washing machine. Then a water-saving high efficiency front loader washing machine tumbles, rinses and spins the balls, and they are air dried.
Wool dryer balls are guaranteed against everything but dogs and lawnmowers. Contact Natalya Lowther at email@example.com to make arrangements.
