Hardneck Garlic Seed Bulb (lb.)

This garlic can be eaten, but is intended to be planted in the fall for the next year’s harvest. A quarter-pound of seed garlic yields approximately 20 cloves for planting.

Although less common than the softneck counterpart, hardneck garlic has a superior, stronger flavor. Hardneck garlic has an earthy, rich, complex flavor that lends itself well to eating raw and roasted, as well as for normal usage.
